The pre-campaign is the stage where hosts announce their upcoming location proposal. The goal is to excite the community, arouse interest, and gather waitlists sign-ups before the sales begin. The pre-campaign stage lasts 21 days.
-
Waitlists are lists where potential housemates for a location proposal sign up until sales open. Signing in a waitlist does not mean you have reserved a spot at a location. Instead, it means you are interested and we will notify you once reservations are open.
-
If there is only a waiting list under a location listing, it means that the post is currently in the pre-campaign stage. Guests can sign up to get access to pre-booking at discounted prices.
The pre-campaign phase lasts for a total of 21 days.
-
During a campaign stage, those who signed up to a waitlist can book their stay at a discounted price.
Campaigns last only five days.
The goal of campaigns is to reach enough bookings so that all the costs associated with running a house are covered.
If a campaign does not reach the booking goal, the house proposal will be canceled.
