Booking a room

  • Currently, there's no minimum. On average, Cambra members stay for 6 weeks as they enjoy a slower pace of exploration - and discounted monthly prices too! -

  • Currently, there's no maximum. As long as a house is running and beds are available, you can stay as long as you want.

  • When living at Cambra, the following is included:

    · Accommodation

    · Water, electricity, and other utilities

    · Cleaning once a week

    · Fast WiFi in working areas

    · Linen and towels

    What is not included:

    · Any sort of transportation

    · Food and beverages

    · Activities or events

  • At Cambra there are 2 types of discounts that can be combined:

    1. Pre-booking discounts

      Those booking their stay during the 5 days of a location campaign wll access a discounted price.

      Pre-booking discounts can only be activated through a code.

    2. Length of stay discounts

      The longer you stay, the lower the price per night gets.

      > 7 days = -15%

      >14 days = -30%

      >30 days = -50%

      Length of stay discounts are applied automatically.

  • If there is availability, definitely! Let your host know that you’d like to extend ASAP and we will send you a fast-track booking link with a special price.

  • As long as there are still beds available in the room, of course! Either make a group booking or leave us a comment in the checkout area like "I would like to share a room with X" or "I would like to share a room with another woman". We will do our best to fulfil your request.

  • Visitors are welcome during the day as long as your host and roommates agree. Overnight visitors are allowed for a short period - up to 3 days -, and only if you have your own private room. Always ask your host first :)

  • No, sorry. In order to maintain a working atmosphere, only adults are allowed in our homes for now.

  • Not at the moment unfortunately.

Your Stay

  • Your host will welcome you, introduce you to everyone in the house, show you to your room and hand you clean bed linen and towels.

  • Once a week, a cleaner cleans the bathrooms and common areas. However, we expect all roommates to keep the house clean and tidy.

    Also, you must make your own bed when you arrive.

  • Check-ins are after 2PM. But if you arrive at the house earlier, you are welcome to use the common areas already.

    Check-outs are no later than 10AM. However, common areas can still be used for the rest of the day.

  • Yes! House rules are important to protect the community, comply with local regulations, and ensure a certain level of safety. You can review the house rules in the checkout process. All internal house rules must be consistent with CAMBRA policies and conditions.

  • Yes, they will be given to you upon your arrival. You can get fresh linen once a week. Please inform your host about it upon arrival to coordinate with the cleaning team.

  • By default, every week, but more often upon request.

  • Yes, everything is provided. Cutlery, pots, cooking utensils, coffee maker, etc.

  • Yes, usually there will be a washing machine in every house. You can read such information in the description of the house.

  • Most of the houses provide their own parking spaces. You can read such information in the description of the house.

  • We will try to provide fast internet for everyone in each house. Nevertheless, it may be that the internet speed is lower than the one at your home. If you need very fast internet to get your work done, please indicate this in your booking request.

The Community

  • You'll be sharing the house with amazing like-minded people who are there for the same reason you are. Through our online community, you'll get to know everyone before you arrive.

  • With the help of Slack, our community stays connected online. It's a tool that makes it easy for you to meet new people, chat with your roommates, and catch up with old friends. It's also a place where everyone can share ideas, offer help, and ask for support.

  • Absolutely! Our online community is open for everyone sharing the Cambra values. Get your access here.

  • We do not accept immediate, anonymous bookings. Each guest must fill out an application form, which is reviewed by us before being accepted.

  • Cambra is all about the community. A good application shows that you care about being an active member and strengthening the community.

  • While any adult can join Cambra, so far guests have been between 24 and 48 years old, with an average age of 34.

  • Although most Cambra members have a technical, creative or entrepreneurial background, we are not interested in your profession. We care about all our members being on the same page and planning to work instead of taking a vacation.

  • Yes, of course! Join our online community and find out what activities are happening near you. We love making new friends :)

Payment Terms & Cancellation

  • We charge 1% of the total amount of your stay as an application fee and hold the rest until your application has been reviewed. Once you are accepted at the house, the pending amount on your credit card will be charged. If you are not accepted, your credit card will not be charged and the amount withheld will be released immediately.

  • Not yet, but very soon!

  • For a full refund, you have 24 hours - or until the end of a pre-sale campaign - to cancel your booking. After the 24 hours, unfortunately, we can no longer offer a refund.

    We highly hope you understand this. We wish we could offer you better conditions here, but since we are still a small startup, we have to make sure at all times that we have enough funds to cover unexpected cancellations.

  • No, but we will ask to keep a card on file in case of any serious or intentional damage caused to the property.

  • To ensure the smooth operation of Cambra and to cover the cost of services such as 24/7 customer service, we charge a 1% application fee and a 15% service fee when a booking is confirmed.

  • Unfortunately, in this case, we don't provide any refunds. However, if there are any special unusual circumstances, please contact us and we will surely find a solution.

  • Our prices are dynamic and change depending on the room type, length of stay and time of booking. For the best rates, book your stay with a discount during the five days of pre-sale and book at least 30 days.

COVID-19

  • We adhere to the cancellation policy of the landlords and house owners. You can learn more about the cancellation policy of each house in the house description.

  • Not necessarily. Each house will comply with the local rules.

  • Not necessarily. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated people are allowed to join our houses.

    Attention: In any case, you should check the entry requirements of the respective country before you start your trip.
